For example, there is a restriction of $100 Amazon places on the employee discount. An employee can get a discount up to $1,000 on merchandise they purchase.
Amazon Prime Days are also eligible for the Amazon employee discount. So if you work for Amazon, you can save even more money on Prime days.
How do employees get the Amazon Discount?
Amazon employees are currently reporting that 30 days of work is necessary before the discount can be applied to them.
Amazon’s employees can also receive insurance or reimbursement for tuition at various times, depending on when you were hired.
Amazon Employee Discount: Which Products Qualify?
Although Amazon provides a discount for employees, there are some restrictions when it comes to the products you can purchase.
For example, Amazon must directly sell and fulfill the items to qualify for the employee discount.
The employee discount is not applicable if a third party sells the product.
How can I give my employee a discounted Amazon price?
Your unique discount code will be required to redeem your Amazon Employee Discount at Checkout.
To do so, sign into Amazon A to Z. Next click on the Profile tab. After you have created your profile, your staff picture will be displayed with your unique discount code.

The $1000 amount will reset at the one-year anniversary of your employment.
Amazon offers Prime membership to employees who work for them.
Unfortunately, Amazon employees do not get access to a free Amazon Prime membership of any sort as of 2022.
Prime memberships are exempt from the 10% Employee Discount.
