How To Receive Walmart To Walmart Money Transfer?

To get your Walmart2Walmart money transfer, you must check your nearest MoneyCenter. Bring the transaction reference number given by the sender who transferred you the funds. For more financial services, such as cashing personal checks or cashier’s checks at your Walmart local store, contact the customer service desk.

After you have provided the transaction number, valid identification must be presented that matches the name in the transfer. The transferred funds will be sent to you.

When the sender funds you, it takes less than 10 minutes to complete the money transfer.

It’s important to note that Walmart2Walmart recipient is paid in cash at their local Walmart store. To collect funds, the recipient must wait up to 60 calendar days after the transaction date. Walmart’s return policy states that money transfers are returned to senders if they are not received within 60 days.

You can’t send cash to Walmart stores, but you can use Walmart2World powered by Moneygram to send money directly into the recipient’s account.

You will need the following information to send money:

• You will need cash to pay the amount transferred and the service fees.
• Name and contact information of the recipient.

You’ll receive a reference number after the transfer is sent. Be sure to pass this along to your recipient so they can pick up the money transfer seamlessly.

You’ll also include personal information for you and the recipient, enter your ID information and select the delivery speed and location you want.

After you confirm everything looks correct, you can tap “Accept & Continue.” You can head to the Walmart service desk or Money Center where an employee will scan the confirmation code for the transaction, take your payment, verify your identity and complete the money transfer. You’ll get a reference number to track the transfer later.

Unbanked Customers

Americans without a bank account are considered unbanked. The term “underbanked” refers to Americans with limited access and/or no bank account. These people can now move money with Walmart’s new service. People with financial difficulties, such as those who are struggling to pay their electricity or gas bills or may be considering loan repayments can request that friends or family send them money directly without opening a bank account.

Walmart-2-Walmart is expected to give more reasons for customers to shop at Walmart stores. The company is betting that some customers will decide to shop in-store with some of their transfer money.
