Target’s Price Adjustment Policy allows for you to make a request to adjust the price within 14 days of purchasing a product.
You have fourteen days to make your order at Target or contact Guest Services at 1-800-440-0680 for online orders.
Target offers price adjustments on orders placed online
Target.com will correct the prices of any product sold online. To request price adjustment for online orders, call Guest Services at 1-800-440-0680.
Alternatively, you may use the live chat feature if you have a Target account to request a price adjustment. Your order number, your email address, and name will be required.
If approved, the refund will be sent to you via your original payment method.
Target does price adjustments during the holidays?
Cyber Week or Black Friday are two sales that all customers look forward. So if you purchased a product before it significantly reduced in price during the Black Friday sales, you can indeed request a price adjustment at Target.
Target waived the 14 day requirement in recent years (2022). This means that merchandise purchased between November 1st and November 28th can be eligible for price adjustments until December 24th.

Target shops offer price adjustments for online and store-bought purchases. You can do this at any of the checkout lanes or Guest Services counters.
You do not necessarily need to bring the product, but you will need proof of purchase (as listed above). Once the product has been verified, the cashier will issue a refund.
The cash refund will be issued immediately. Credit or debit card reimbursements can take upto 5 days. Target RedCardrefunds only take 1-2 days.
If you paid with a check, you will receive a merchandise return card (if the check hasn’t been cleared) or cash. For online orders, you’ll need to call Guest Services or start up an online chat using the Target app or desktop website.
Target can adjust the price of sale items
Target will make adjustments to the prices of products after they are placed on sale, but only for a limited time.
Items that are closeouts or clearance items cannot qualify for price adjustments. However you can return the item in its original condition within the allowed time frame to repurchase it.
Additionally, Target cannot adjust the price you paid for refurbished, pre-owned, or rent and lease products. Price adjustments are not available for products marked down due to typographical mistakes.

Target Marketplace merchandise cannot be matched in price or adjusted online or at stores by Target Plus Partners.
Target also typically disallows price adjustments on alcohol-based products due to various state laws.
Customers who are not members of Target Circle Rewards can’t request price adjustments on products that have been included in Target Circle discounts or deals.
If you wish to meet the prices of another retailer for the same item, you’ll need to request a price match instead of a price adjustment.
